This week, we have continued reading Nervous Conditions which has gotten a little more interesting. We learn a lot about the relationships between the family. For example, Tambu's father and her uncle Mukoma don't seem to have the best relationship. In Ch. 2, Tambu told a lot about her past and her struggle to raise money to go to school by selling maize. Also, A lot happened in Ch. 3. Babamuruku returned from England and we also see Nhamo die. We also see how unimportant the women are in this situation. They mainly just do housework which is very different compared to the present day. I can't wait to see what happens next in the story.
We finally have our rough draft of our Global Issues paper done! We recently turned them into turnitin.com and now we are editing. For homework, we had to proof read our and 3 other papers with comments. For me, it was difficult to proofread my own! Soon, we will hopefully have our completed papers!
